ORTHODOX PSALM
- In the mystery and the glory, let us pray to our God:
the music of angels passed down from ages;
- for the face of Mary the mother, virgin and child:
the painting of saints seen face to face.
- To see God through the images, known to our forebears:
showing the face of beyond, tradition of icons.
- For the music of liturgy, voice and voices:
the distance of heaven, beyond the royal doors,
- God beyond experience, holy ground:
yet you are in all living, bringing your kingdom.
